I give up, give me the answer

Our expectation (hypothesis) is drawn from the following information taken from our literature review:
1)Mothers in Belize tend to keep their children very close to their bodies

2)Mothers in Samoa tend to let their children roam and explore. How would you test a hypothesis using our data?

From this we get the following: Mothers in Belize tend to be close (in distance) to their children while mothers in Samoa are farther from their children. Put another way, we expect Samoan mothers to be farther from their children than mothers in Belize.

What is another way to state this expectation?

There is no difference between Belize and Samoa
There is a difference between Belize and Samoa
Children in Belize are closer to their mothers than those kids in Samoa
Children in Samoa are closer to their mothers than those kids in Belize
I don't know, what does the expert have to say?
